Driton Gaxha, born Albanian from Skopje, at the age of 18, he was considered one of 6 students among 70 candidates, in one of the best conservatories (Conservatoire National Supérieur de Boulogne region), recorded in Paris. He was there in the class of Prof. Simone Feyrabend. This was followed by studies at the Academy of Music in Würzburg, where he got his Diploma and has also completed a master class in the class of Prof. Reiner Schmidt and Fabio Marano.
Driton were awarded many prizes, such as He is the first and only winner of the first special prize for viola in Skopje, winner of the first prize for chamber music in Skopje, second prize at the Academy of Music for Viola Würzburg. These prices have a very positive impact on his career.
Another followed chamber music master classes with the Romanian string quartet "Voces" with which he is also performed together, and master classes for viola with Prof. Reiner Schmidt.
Driton Gaxha performs regularly with internationally renowned orchestras such as the Camerata Frankonia headed by Grigori Zhislin, Philharmonia of the Nations (Justus Frantz), Orchestra Jakobsplatz Munich, solo Viola at “No Borders Orchestra” (orchestra reunion from all ex Jugoslav Countrys), Taschen Philharmonie Munich, Würzburg Chamber Orchestra, Vienna Royal Orchestra, Orquestra do Norte (Portugal), St. Petersburg Soloists chamber Orchestra, etc. With the above orchestras, he has performs at a famous theaters, such as Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Konzerthaus Berlin, Zürich Tonhalle, the Alte Oper Frankfurt, Royal Albert Hall, London , Cologne Philharmonie etc.
Since 2012 he is a member of a “Stadler Ensemble” (quintet)
