Panos Galanopoulos was born in the city of Volos in 1992 and started playing the piano under the guidance of Kostas Matzafleris, and with Evi Kanellopoulou, with whom he took his piano degree. Today he studies piano under the guidance of pianist and Professor Dino Mastroyiannis in the Municipal Conservatory of Volos. He has taken the degree of Harmony and Counterpoint with professor Andreas Mimeos in the Municipal Conservatory of Volos. Since 2012 he is a close partner of soprano Sylvia Tsimpanakou and permanent collaborator of her singing class. Since then he has participated in concerts as a collaborator and as a soloist in various cities of Greece. In 2014, he played as a soloist in the Carnival of the Animals by Saint Saens, with the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Volos Municipal Conservatory, conducted by Ioakem Baltsavias. In August 2015, he took part in a seminar of Conducting with the conductor Anastasios Strikos. Additionally he is a graduate of the department of History, Archaeology and Social Anthropology, in the field of Social Anthropology from the University of Thessaly. Since 2013 he is a radio music producer initially in Nova Fm-Volos and today in the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation in the department of Volos where he holds a classical music broadcast with the purpose of spreading classical music in the city of Volos, educating and promoting artists from Volos and the wider area.
