Four historic music documentary-films have been screened to the frames of the 1st ‘Evmelia’ Festival:
1) “Rhapsody” Vladigerov, about the legendary Bulgarian composer Pancho Vladigerov. The film has been screened on March 29th at 8 p.m., by courtesy of “Revo Films”, at the attendance of its Director, Svetlana Avdala. The film “Rhapsody” won the category “Musical Portrait” at the First Festival of Music Films “Nicolai Ghiaurov” within the “Bulgarian Heritage Days 2011″.
2) The documentary,”Antonín Dvořák – Deo Gratias”, has been screened on March 31st at 7:00 p.m., under the auspices of the Czech Embassy in Greece.
3) The documentary, “View From Olympus-A portrait of John Psathas, Composer”, has been screened on April 2, at 5 p.m., by courtesy of “Messenger Films” – New Zealand, and at the attendance of the composer himself, who discussed will the public and Press after the end of the film.
4) The documentary, “Franz Schubert: The Greatest Love & The Greatest Sorrow” (Czech Crystal Award – Prague 1994), have been screened on April 6th at 8 p.m., by courtesy of Allegro Films and the legendary Director, Christopher Nupen.
